Previous Donation Impact

Georgian Triangle Humane Society

Following a previous Guys That Give donation, the Georgian Triangle Humane Society shared an update demonstrating just how quickly the contribution was put to work.

Shortly after receiving the donation, the organization responded to escalating northern wildfires by helping transport animals to safety. Across three separate transfers, 32 animals were rescued and brought to the Georgian Triangle Humane Society for medical treatment, foster care, recovery, and adoption support.

Nala & Her Puppies

Nala arrived with four three-week-old puppies requiring safety and medical care. The family was placed into foster care, where the puppies were able to grow and recover before each found a permanent home. Nala later found a family of her own as well.

Winston

Winston arrived after suffering serious injuries from a dog attack, including damage to his eyelid, face, tail, and teeth.

After surgeries, medication, infection treatment, and extensive foster care, Winston recovered and was ultimately adopted by the Dog Care Coordinator who had helped him through his rehabilitation.

Sausage

Sausage was discovered alone at approximately six weeks old with a badly broken leg while wildfires were nearby.

After being rescued and transferred to the Georgian Triangle Humane Society, he recovered in foster care and was successfully adopted with his leg healed.

Where the Donation Went

The donation helped fund essential care including:

  • Spay and neuter surgeries
  • Microchipping
  • Vaccinations
  • Parasite control
  • Dental surgeries
  • Medication
  • Food
  • Veterinary care
  • Foster support

The organization emphasized that the Guys That Give contribution gave them the ability to respond immediately when animals urgently needed help.

A Message From Georgian Triangle Humane Society

“You didn’t just give us money—you gave us the ability to say yes when animals needed us most.”

The Georgian Triangle Humane Society shared its appreciation for the trust Guys That Give members placed in the organization and the impact the contribution has already created.
